Had the loveliest morning with my gals and Geena, the owner of @namastebandb learning all about her amazing mission of cultivating community and lifting up female makers and creatives, while offering opportunities for connection and fun! While we all loved our threading experiences (first time for all of us), her space is more than a brow boutique. It was a warm and welcoming space that in addition to offering beautiful handmade clothing and accessories from Nepal, cultivates a sense of community and belonging for anyone who walks through the door.
I HIGHLY encourage anyone in the St Paul/Roseville area to stop into Namaste Brows and Boutique to say hello to Geena and treat yourself to a little pampering. All of the clothing and accessories she sells are handmade by Nepali women and one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

This is a very special clip for a number of reasons. It’s from our James Taylor tribute this weekend and our debut of an amazing song called “Millworker”.
JT’s music has always been a North Star of music for my family and particularly my Uncle Peter. Pete has been gone for sometime now but his presence is still felt and sharing songs like these, performed on his guitar and in company and my friends and family is truly a blessing.
When rehearsing for the show, I realized that the song had a flute part. Remembering Stephanie Devine has been working on the flute and getting back into it, I thought I’d ask her to perform this live. She did such a good job and I’m so proud of her for continuing to grow, learning and evolving as a musician and a person in life.
It’s never too late, it’s never too early, there’s always an opportunity and there’s always hope. When in doubt or when times are hard, let the music play. Lean on your friends and family but never give up. Have faith and believe that the good things are coming your way!!
