Root Shaving | For the Prevention of Circling and Girdling Roots
The removal of the outermost roots from a tree’s root ball is an important step in preventing circling and girdling roots. Here at Devil Mountain, we perform root shaving on trees when they are shifted into larger containers. It’s a simple task you should be doing at installation, as well. Our video demonstrates the technique and explains why it is so effective.
