[INFO POST] ✨ Who even is Deville Productions? ⤵️⤵️❤️ OUR BEGINNINGS Deville Productions was founded after an acting course in the summer of 2023 with the motivation to gain experience, learn from practice and each other, expand our horizons in the film industry and develop our unique cinematic style. OUR PHILOSOPHY For us, filmmaking isn’t just about putting a story on screen, it’s a way to connect with others, share our perspectives and maybe even inspire some change. We’re still discovering our own voice and style, constantly trying new things and exploring fresh ideas, all while navigating the real-world challenges of independent film. OUR GOALS A big part of what drives us is telling stories that don’t always get the spotlight in mainstream media. We care deeply about giving space to voices and perspectives that are often overlooked and we’re committed to portraying them authentically. Our goal is to open up conversations, create a respectful and balanced work environment on set and show audiences the stories we want to tell. OUR APPROACH We want our sets to be welcoming, flexible and open to everyone, whether you’re just starting out or have been at it for years. We’re challenging the old-school hierarchies and building an environment where everyone’s voice matters and everyone’s welcome. No one really talks about how overwhelming your first short film can be. In 2023 we shot our first 25-minute horror short film. We didn’t know everything. We weren’t fully prepared. It was overwhelming and chaotic.. but also a lot of fun and one of the best learning experiences we could’ve asked for.
