Max Scoular signs for The Vale
The club are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Max Scoular. (Subject to international and SFA clearance)
Max becomes our fourth new addition ahead of the new season, having previously played for Hucknall Town FC.

Delighted to officially welcome Max Scoular to the club!
A player weāve had our eye on for a while, Max brings a high level of technical ability and the versatility to cover multiple midfield roles. At 24, heās at a great age to hit the ground running and continue his development with us.
I tried to get Max prior to his move down to England a few years ago when i first took over, so we are delighted to finally get him on board.

I am really excited to be joining the Vale, I have been moving around a lot for uni and work so Iām am looking forward to having a full season. I have heard really good things about the club from my close friend Dem. Woody has done a great job with a young team, and I am hoping I can add something different too. Great to see my old teammate Dylan Stephen join as well. Canāt wait to get started. š“āŖļø

DYLAN STEPHEN SIGNS ON AT THE VALE
The club are delight to announce that midfielder Dylan Stephen has signed for the club from Montrose Roselea FC. Dylan becomes our third new addition for the 2026/27 season.

Dylan brings quality to our squad with his composure on the ball and a proven winning mentality. At a great age for the group, heās exactly the type of character who will thrive in our environment.
He was been a key performer for Montrose Roselea last season and we look forward to welcoming him in next season.

The club are delighted to announce that Marcus Binnie has extended his stay at Deveronvale.
Garry Wood:
Delighted to announce that Marcus has agreed a new and improved contract with the club. As a talented local young player, it was imperative that we secured his future early, and this represents an excellent piece of business for the club.
Despite his young age, he has shown tremendous development throughout his first year in adult football. He is tenacious in the tackle, shows great composure on the ball, and possesses excellent recovery pace.
Marcus fully deserves his improved contract, and I look forward to continuing to support his development in the years to come.

Delighted to extend my time here , really enjoyed my first season so made it an easy decision to continue with the vale . Canāt wait to get back into pre season and hopefully have a good start to the season ahead.

The club can confirm the permanent transfer of Keane Matheson to Lossiemouth.
Keane was approached regarding a contract extension, but has chosen to move on in pursuit of a new opportunity.
We thank Keane for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future.

The club are delighted to announce that Colin Charlesworth has extend his stay until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Coco had this to say about extending his stay:
āIām delighted to extend my stay here. As I said previously the club means a lot to me from my playing days.
Having been here for a short spell I can see everyone is pulling together to improve and really push forward from board level to the pitch.
Weāve made a couple strong additions already going into next season and Iām excited to help Woody, Granty & Watty go again from the very start and hopefully compete for cups and climb the league as thatās my ambition which the club is perfectly aligned with

The club are delighted to announce the signing of Keir Smith from Turriff United following the expiration of his contract. (Subject to SFA approval)
Garry Wood:
We are absolutely delighted to welcome Keir to the club and canāt wait to see him link up with the squad in preāseason!
He brings real Highland League experience and adds quality and a different dimension to our team. After putting in the hard work to get back to full fitness following injuries over the past couple of years, Keir is now raring to go.
With plenty of interest from other Highland League clubs, this is one weāre thrilled to get over the line ā and weāre confident heāll make a big impact in the season ahead

Really excited about having a fresh start at the Vale. Looking forward to getting into pre season and meeting the guys. Canāt wait for the first game of the season in a couple months and hopefully get off to a great start. I like everything Iāve heard from Woody, everything he has said has been in line with what Iām looking for in my future.

The club are delighted to announce the signing of Kyle Wood from Banks OāDee juniors.

Weāre delighted to welcome Kyle to the club!
A young centreāback with a fantastic attitude, Kyle has earned his move after a strong couple of seasons at Banks oā Dee Juniors and is keen to make the step up. Heās an aggressive, ballāwinning defender with good recovery speed and a real hunger to develop his game.
Weāre really looking forward to welcoming him in preāseason and getting him integrated into the squad.
