So, this is my best friend Emily.
She has been my ride or die since freshman year trombone sectionals.
From attempting to travel Europe to concerts and shows, she is always down and will be aggressively happy to do it.
Emily has been sick a long time. She has been batting competing illnesses as long as I can remember, and still pushes on. From Ulcerative Colitis, to Cysts the size of a football growing, she has and continues to go through the ringer.
She has a string of surgeries to hopefully give her some much needed relief coming up, but it is going to be tough. She will get through it, because she is the hardiest and most stubborn person I know, but it is going to be insanely expensive.
Despite her wishes, there is a gofundme setup to help her. This will not only go to the insane medical bills she will be getting, also stabilizing her as she recovers from 3 different procedures.
This is us from before it started to ramp up, and after all of this, I look forward to whirling around more dance floors with no pain.
