it’s always an interesting time going back to a place of great significance. the last time I was here, I rediscovered myself. I reawakened many dormant pieces of myself and made plans to cut out many areas of my life that weren’t serving me. I vowed I’d never come back as I wanted to preserve the magic. In the end, I’m glad I did. I reconnected deeply on Lopud Island with friends old and new through stargazing, double daily workouts, hikes, underwater cave exploration, lots of fresh fish, spa time, drinking my body weight in tequila, and quickly mobilizing to secure an Airbnb as a launch pad for an unforgettable night where we all partied until sunrise. As I come to another inflection point in my life, my heart is warmed by the Aperol Adriatic All Star Animals and friends. May this week live on forever in our hearts.
