Hey friends, happy new year.
2025 was intense, and it put a lot into perspective for me. I am eternally grateful for all the opportunities that came my way, and for the people that made it happen.
This was my first full year of freelancing, a milestone I have been chasing since I graduated from college. No more finding a cover at my old part-time job so I could volunteer on a short film. This year, I was able to actually sustain myself doing what I love: making movies.
I learned so much, met so many incredible people, and had the chance to really hone in on what I want my journey in film to look like. I am going into 2026 with clarity, focus, and genuine excitement for what’s to come.
Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way — whether it was gigs, recs, advice, or even simple “you’ll do fine”. Because of you, I feel confident in my place in the industry.
I can’t wait to keep working, keep learning, and keep shooting this year. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
