The sun is back! And so is the rain, but us Wednesdays couldn’t resist the first post-daylight savings practice.
Kartwheel killed it on the fungo! Sam had one of the most dramatic stretches to catch a ball and Frank’s diving pop fly catch will not be forgotten. My filming while playing is still fraught with peril AND I’m unable to throw currently. Also, Lupe and myself are working on a custom hug/lift/hi-five greeting. Keep ur eyes peeled for that.
We sure missed Brandon but we did get a visit from @moonagedaydreamcraft and that was 10/10💖⚾️🪩

Us Town Lake Nightcrawlers are going to gather at The Meantime Wednesday 2/11/26 from 6p-8p to honor our friend, teammate and Coach Kent.
We invite all of his friends, sandlot and otherwise, to hang, hug, laugh, cry and sign a game ball in his honor.

Your @bastropbuntings really put in the work today… literally. Team captains pulled up in prolly the best overalls to exist and the whole Mural turned up to level the dramatic berms where the bases used to be. Shovels, rakes, pick axes and lots of sweat and love went into our field today. Also lots of laughter too!
The 2026 sandlot season is gonna be great!

It’s takes all kinds to make a Wednesday, and to quote Brandon “There’s not been a bad Thursday after a good Wednesday.” The sun seems to agree and gives us a little more time every week now adays, thanks Sun! Elton from the neighborhood turned up again and there was even a few @bastropbuntings sighted along side Dem Wormz.
Huge shout out to @2kris2 for being the Queen of: ( in no particular order) Wednesdays, laughs, dancing, taking pics and videos, pop flys, story telling, field finding and generosity. Thanks for truly loving us and baseball. We’re lucky to get to hang with you Kartwheel, Boogie too.
