Summer Spey Days are right around the corner!
Join us at the shop on 6/6 for a full weekend dedicated to two-handed casting, Spey fly tying, gear demos, and more.
We’ll have on-the-water Spey casting presentations from Craig Buckbee and Barrett Ames of @namproducts , with Barrett also walking everyone through NAM’s latest lineup of new and existing products.
We also have demo rods and lines from Hardy, T&T, Echo, Grey’s, Royal Wulff, Scientific Anglers, Cortland and more!
Steve Spurgeon from @grundens will be on hand showcasing their 2026 lineup of waders and boots.
Tyers Row is stacked with some of our favorite tyers spinning everything from classic salmon flies to modern tube flies for Great Lakes steelhead.
We’ll have the grill fired up courtesy of Big Milt Buchta, plus beverages from our friends at @westkillbrewing .
On Sunday, stick around for in-person, on-the-water clinics with Craig and Barrett covering both trout Spey and full Spey casting techniques and tactics.
It’s shaping up to be an awesome weekend in the Catskills — hope to see you at the shop!

Great day out with the boys! @specklebean is the only one who had any luck but it was beauty. Got to visit the legendary @detteflies and explore the Roscoe and Livingston Manor area for the first time . Can’t wait to go back when the weather and water warms up a bit.
