Honouring the ashen walls of the farmhouse, we envisioned a space that seamlessly blends contemporary design with its natural surroundings.
From this vision, the idea of the new building rising from the remnants of the old farmhouse was born – a symbol of renewal, connection + harmony with the landscape.

Our studio is excited to announce our newest project - Caritas College New Specialist + Senior Centre!
Caritas College is embarking on a major transformation guided by its long term Master Plan with CESA, creating contemporary learning environments that support today’s educational needs and future growth.
Stage 1 delivers a new Specialist Building - an iconic hub for creativity, STEM and hands on learning, featuring state of the art spaces for Science, Food Technology, Child Studies, Design & Technology and Art.
Stage 2 introduces a dedicated Senior Centre with modern GLAs, quiet study zones, and outdoor learning spaces, supporting senior students as they transition toward life beyond school. The works also include a new staff carpark.
Together these upgrades create flexible, welcoming and future focused spaces that reflect the College’s commitment to high quality learning for all students.

Shaped by more than two decades of living on site, the project responds to light, wind, privacy and neighbourhood character with a quiet, non-dominant extension that sits behind the original cottage and nests into the surrounding tree canopy.
