Not your ordinary salon; @colorandshapesalon has a lot to offer. They take real action on their values of being an accessible, environmentally friendly, and community driven space for all. In turn, a not so ordinary salon website was essential. Each client — no matter their needs — can feel confident in finding information to prepare for their appointment. New potential clients get a true sense of the C&S salon and stylists before ever stepping foot inside. We kept things flexible by using @squarespace , but customized each page to ensure the brand really shines through. The stunning photos by @kris.shoots.film don’t hurt either. ✨ #branddesign #branding #websitedesign #website #designinspiration

A first look at some brand work for @colorandshapesalon .🖤 Two of the best in the biz, Gabby and Brittany, decided to join forces and open a hair salon built on what matters: being kind to the planet, animals, and all humans. The goal for their brand direction was to mix sustainable and earthy tones with a bold and vibrant ‘90s edge. As a lover of brand design as well as type, I’m super happy with how the logomark turned out. Such a fun and memorable shape that works just as well as an emblem as it does a decorative element for the brand. Stay tuned for more C&S work and in the meantime, why not book a hair appointment? I know I need to! 😅

2025 was BUSY... but not so much on the Drip Creative side of things. Being an independent designer can be tough at times. With each new year, I’m always striving to do more — work on new projects, meet new people, and grow my business. If things aren’t looking up and to the right, it can be easy to feel like a failure. But when I really reflect on the past year, I don’t think I would change a thing! I focused on my connections with loved ones, had some huge milestone moments, and made countless memories that will last a lifetime.  Life’s too short to not prioritize your personal life every once in a while! Looking at the year ahead, I’m excited for some personal plans I already have in the works. But I’m equally as excited to get back to business and create some killer designs! If you’re still reading this (bless you) and are thinking about a branding/design project for this year, or know someone who is... I’d absolutely love to chat!

A fun new look for @downtownbrockville ! ✨ It was important to create a visual brand that felt cohesive with Brockville Tourism’s identity, while staying unique and distinguishable as a BIA. This was an exciting challenge to take on. There’s so much to explore in this charming city and being right along the water, there’s no better time than the summer to enjoy all of the amazing local vendors Downtown Brockville has to offer. ☀️🍔🛍️ #branding #brand #logodesign #logo #designinspiration #downtownbrockville #brockville

Sharing some more brand assets and inspiration from @brockville_tourism ’s latest brand refresh and launch! The St. Lawrence River is at the heart of the city and they wanted a visual brand that paid homage to the vibrant, waterside lifestyle Brockville has to offer. 🌊 - #design #branding #logo #graphicdesign #branddesign #brandidentity #ottawa #ottawadesign #ottdesign #brockville #brockvilletourism #cityofthe1000islands

New year, new look! ✨ Brockville is a city that blends rich history, stunning parks and trails, waterfront activities, family fun, and a vibrant community. I always like to provide clients with real-life examples of their brand in action so they can see how it all comes together. 🤩 You have a fresh new look… but how do you actually use it?! Mock ups are a great way to encourage and inspire clients to find creative ways of using their visual brand — beyond just slapping the logo on a page. #design #branding #logo #graphicdesign #branddesign #brandidentity #ottawa #ottawadesign #ottdesign #ruralimpactcanada #brandmockup #communitydevelopment #sustainablegrowth

Unveiling a fun and rewarding branding project from earlier this year: This is Rural Impact Canada.🌾🇨🇦 It’s no secret that Canadian rural municipalities are underserved. Across the country, these towns, counties, and small cities share common barriers and hurdles that negatively impact housing density and overall growth. Rural Impact seeks to empower these municipalities across Canada by providing innovative programs for infrastructure development, sustainable housing, and community capacity building. It’s been awhile! If you’ve been following along on socials, you may be under the impression that Drip has been on hiatus. 😅 I’m VERY grateful to be able to say that it’s been quite the opposite! Drip Creative is officially 2 years old this month 🎂🎉 and I’ve achieved more in Year 2 than I could’ve ever dreamed. I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many incredible people, organizations, and small businesses alike. I’ve also taken on a new role — teaching in the Graphic Design program at Algonquin College! Each opportunity that has come my way this year has been so rewarding and while I wouldn’t give it up for anything… your girl has been BUSY! It’s times like these when personal branding tends to take a back seat… and I think that’s okay. That being said, I will make an effort to share more branding and design work before the year is through. As a sneak peek, here are some used (and unused) logomarks I’ve had the pleasure of creating over the past few months! 👀

Double tap to share some logo love. 🧡 The Maama Watali House logo features a tree growing from within a house. The tree is a visual representation of transition, change, and growth. Natural textures and colour tones are used throughout the branding to maintain a calm, earthy feel. 🌿

Introducing Maama Watali House! 🏠 Maama Watali is a nonprofit that already does incredible work supporting Black women as they navigate rebuilding their lives after personal loss and gender-based violence. They are now creating their first transitional house right here in Ottawa! This can’t be done without an awareness push in order to gain attention and funding. Building out the Maama Watali House brand was nothing short of rewarding and I wish them all the success in the world getting MWH kicked off. 🙏 If you can help with a donation, regardless of size, it would be greatly appreciated!
