Last week, our team brought energy, craft, and a touch of disruption to the iconic @mulinofactorymilano by Gio Ponti.

For @umisushiatl main dining room, we focused on creating a clear, balanced atmosphere - using materiality, controlled lighting, and careful spatial planning to support the rhythm of the restaurant and the experience of dining.
For @umisushiatl private dining space, we focused on atmosphere over ornament - using materiality, light, and scale to create a calm, intimate environment removed from the main restaurant below.
Discover @umisushiatl - a refined dining destination where contemporary Japanese cuisine meets thoughtful, atmospheric design. Led by Design Research Studio, the space reflects the studio’s considered approach to spatial storytelling, materiality and atmosphere, illuminated by a curated selection of @tomdixonstudio lighting.

A bold entrance portal, influenced by city lights and nautical landscapes, transitions seamlessly from day to night through a considered interplay of natural and artificial light.
@virginvoyages invited us to reimagine cruise ship design, drawing inspiration from the future and mobile communities exploring uncharted waters. Our approach emphasised the journey itself, creating theatrical, unexpected, and forward-looking environments through high-quality materials and disruptive thinking.
From VIP rooftop spaces with freestanding sky rooms to sunken conversation pits enclosed in dichroic glass, each element reflects Virgin’s boundary-pushing spirit at sea.
