Quinn Miriguay is a third year graphic design student born and raised in Ottawa. He has now moved to the city of Toronto to pursue his dream of being a full fledge designer at GBP. Quinn most often enjoys designing editorials and packaging, but he also has a tendency to love designing motion graphics and branding projects. Gothic visual styles and his own life experiences influence him the most when it comes to his design style, along with also being proudly Franco-Ontarian, which inspires him to include bilingual design wherever he can. Quinn looks forward to being a designer that creates impact with his work and actions through working in the sport’s entertainment industry or as a production designer in print. His final thesis project is an editorial set and accompanying package to educate people and undo the negative perceptions certain species of sharks have gained. Quinn’s work, along with nearly 300 other design graduates at the School of Design’s 2026 Year End Show, from April 29th - 30th at 3 Lower Jarvis. Dive deep into the wonderful world of design! Cinthia Nery Martins de Oliveira is a 3rd year Interaction Designer with an extreme fascination with anything and everything art related. From Architecture to Arduino’s, absolutely everything is a channel for her to express her passion for art. Her love for electronics has contributed to many of her designs and creative projects, such as a robotic flower, which her and her team have built to bloom every time somebody passes by it to greet them. Cinthia is constantly hungry for new opportunities to explore different mediums of design, and enhance her skills in the interactive field. Check out Cinthia’s work, along with nearly 300 other design graduates at the School of Design’s 2026 Year End Show, from April 29th - 30th at 3 Lower Jarvis. Ashley Driscoll is a graphic designer with a strong interest in illustration and editorial design. Her background as a tattoo artist has influenced the way she approaches design, especially in terms of composition and attention to detail. This experience has taught her to value precision, intention, and permanence. Ashley approaches typography and composition with the same respect for line, spacing, and balance that tattooing once demanded from her. Throughout her work, she focusses on combining structured design systems with illustrative elements to create thoughtful, well-crafted outcomes. Ashley’s thesis project, Interstice, explores the emotional experience of becoming a stepmom, focusing on the first year of entering a blended family. In her own words, “It centers on the “in-between” stage where roles are unclear, expectations are unspoken, and emotions can feel overwhelming and complex”. Through a series of visually driven zines and a supporting social media platform, the project aims to create a space for validation rather than advice. Check out Ashley’s work, along with nearly 300 other design graduates at the School of Design’s 2026 Year End Show, from April 29th - 30th at 3 Lower Jarvis. One show. One moment. The best work from an incredible group of designers. Post designed by Jeffrey De Leon, 2nd Year Graphic Design. Caption by Matthew D’Amario, 2nd Year Graphic Design

Let us introduce you to Sara Vargas Nessi, a Venezuelan-Canadian visual artist and brand designer with a strong passion for immersive experiences and art installations. Her work has received recognition from various art and design institutions, including her project “Kaleidoscope” which won the RGD’s Branding Award last year and was also honoured by Applied Arts Magazine in four different design categories. Sara’s background in fine arts and theatre significantly influences her design choices, with her main intention to create engaging and thought-provoking experiences. One of Sara’s major projects this year is the Kaleidoscope Theatre Festival, which showcases contemporary plays from around the world in their original languages, inspiring Canadian audiences with new stories. The visual identity features a kaleidoscope-inspired look applied to floral images and typography. Each of the chosen flowers reflect the play’s country and symbolizes the global tradition of gifting flowers to performers. Sara’s work, along with 300 other design graduates at the School of Design’s 2026 Year End Show, from April 29th - 30th at 3 Lower Jarvis. There’s no better time than now to see the newest wave of designers best work! Post Designed by Jeffrey De Leon, 2nd Year Graphic Design. Caption by Matthew D’Amario, 2nd Year Graphic Design.
