Dear observer, supporters; changer maker and all in between! As I post this video of the first-ever Bare session, I’m filled with so many emotions—joy, gratitude, excitement, and reflection. Coming to the end of the winter sessions and stepping into spring feels like such a milestone. It’s incredible to look back on how far we’ve come, and even more exciting to think about what lies ahead. 🌱 Starting Bare: Origins of the Path was a path I carved with passion and purpose, and I feel truly blessed to have connected with so many amazing individuals along the way. Every conversation, every interaction has led me here, and it’s humbling to see the impact we’re making together. But this is just the beginning. I am continually evolving—always seeking to challenge norms, push boundaries, and create spaces that not only foster creativity but also build true communities through play, connection, and shared experiences. It’s about bridging invisible gaps and cultivating a space where we can all show up, be present, and grow together. Here’s to what comes next, and to the power of following a path that feels right for you. Let’s continue walking, creating, and connecting. 🧩 📸 Credits: Video by @JohnoOldham #BareOrigins #CommunityBuilding #Creativity #Play #SpringAwakening #EvolvingTogether #Wellness #Connection #MindfulLiving

Join us Thursday May 1st as we walk, gather, and build—shaping small sculptures from found and provided materials. Guided by the intuitive practice of artist Matteo Koski Wood, we’ll explore how forms take shape from the things we collect, the spaces in between, and the quiet gestures of construction. This is a chance to connect with your hands, your surroundings, and your imagination. No experience needed—just curiosity, care, and a willingness to see what emerges. Tea will be shared. Ideas will unfold. ✨🕸️ #bigupbare #maquettes #creativewalk #foundobjectart #slowmaking #collectivecreativity #constructionandformation

Life gets busy, we get it—but we keep flowing and going 🌿 Tomorrow we gather for our next Bare: Spring to Summer session, where we’ll explore the beauty of abstract arrangements using art materials inspired by the spirit of spring. We’ll sip hibiscus & mint tea, tune into color and form, and create from a place of intention and play. Join us if you’re feeling the call to slow down, make something beautiful, and reconnect. ✨🌸🌱

Happy Sunny Friday🌻 #Bare: Spring to Summer Sessions First Session: A Meditation on Spring – Grounding Ourselves in the Present Moment 🌸 🌱This first session of the series will be a gentle meditation on the essence of spring, inviting us to reconnect with the present moment. We will facilitate this process through two key practices: writing affirmations and achievements to hold ourselves accountable, and engaging in the creative expression of mark-making, using watercolors and pencils. The goal is to immerse ourselves in the vibrant colors and lessons of spring, drawing inspiration from the natural world around us.🫂🧩✨🪷🌬️

Seen, Heard, Felt A mind-opener in the truest sense. Watching people share what they understood to be true—some standing right at the edge of their knowing, others miles away from it. And yet, the overlapping lines appeared. A slow unraveling, a recognition. Everyone, in their own way, was ushered into themselves. And in turn, we witnessed each other. Not to compare, not to correct—just to see. Just to be seen. A space stretched, a moment held. The weight of words, the fluidity of image. The beauty of being in between. .. .. #CreativeExchange #SharedTruths #CollectiveExpression #ArtAndCommunity #SeenHeardFelt #londonwalks #WitnessAndBeWitnessed #BareOrigins #bigupbare #StoryThroughArt #CreativeSanctuary #ExpressionWithoutBorders #CollaborationInMotion #UnravelAndReconnect #TogetherWeCreate

It’s that time again next Monday 24th of March we’ll be joined by @atamahin 🍊find out more about our cohost and the workshop on the next slide 🧩 🔗 to tix in bio We’ll work with annotations, reformation of concepts, and the idea that while we may recognize the same things, we never quite see or feel them the same way. This workshop invites us to engage deeply with both the visual and verbal, allowing our interpretations to take new shape through words and images. This session is about seeing differently, feeling deeply, and co-creating a space where individual and collective experiences intertwine. Looking forward to weaving this moment together! Looking forwards to seeing you there share with friends coworkers neighbours short encounters the more the merrier. #anticapitalletters

“Sound, touch, creation—yesterday’s workshop was a journey through deep listening and expression. Join us for an immersive workshop blending sound exploration and tactile creativity. Through Sound Harvesting, we’ll engage with the environment, gathering and manipulating natural sounds to create both audio compositions and physical interpretations in clay. 📅 Date: Monday, 3rd March ⏰ Time: 6:15 PM – 8:00 PM 📍 Location: The Create Place, St. Margaret’s House 🌿 What to Expect: Guided Nature Walk: Participants will use their phones to record ambient sounds, tuning into the details of the world around them. Creative Workshop: Back at The Create Place, we’ll split into two groups: One group will compose a soundscape, layering and manipulating recordings into an atmospheric track. The other group will work with clay, translating sound into texture, form, and mark-making—allowing emotions and movement to guide their hands. Group Swap: Both groups will switch roles, ensuring everyone gets to experience both listening and creating through different senses. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
