🔺Join us this Sunday afternoon in closing the Dark Times exhibit with a ‘Lammeh of Mouneh in the Fridge´; a gathering for conversations on art for resistance. We will transmit familial traditions, share space, and exchange ideas on how to respond to the present moment. Ahla w sahla! 🤍 🍃

“Traces ( آثار )” brings together twelve multi-generational artists with roots to West Asia and North Africa who call the Washington, D.C. area home. The exhibition’s title reflects the Arabic word meaning to trace, a footprint, a memory, or an echo, and the long lineage of artists with roots from the region who have contributed to the cultural fabric of the D.C. area.
