This wasn’t even meant to be shown yet, but this photo kind of forced my hand.
We were in Bali, out for dinner, and I was wearing this necklace for the first time.
And within about ten minutes, my friend just looked at me and said,
“Can I buy one of those now, before waiting for you to get them onto the website?”
Which tells you everything, really.
These are Mabe (Mar-bay) pearls and if you look closely, you can actually see part of the shell they’ve grown from. They’re not overly polished or perfect and that’s exactly the point.
They’ve got Character. Texture. Presence.
Then paired with freshwater pearls and a charm that just finishes it properly, it’s one of those pieces that doesn’t try too hard, but still gets noticed.
