There has been lots of confusion that we are still located at our old temporary location. We are NOT located on Southern Ave, and haven't been since February 1st 2026. We are STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS, yet in a new format... focusing on pick up orders, meal prep boxes, vending events, and catering services. Private chef and nutritional services too!
Huge announcement!!! The last day we will be open in the current location is this Saturday. We are grateful for trying out this experience and for RBB having us in, yet the location hasn't been working among many modalities. DRK is still in business and will continue to be!!! Just no dine-in. This decision is positive and of confidence. We really could use your support during this transition... especially to raise funds for vending equipment (pop up tent, hot holding equipment, proper signage, etc) and a vehicle for Leslie.
If you're able to, feel free to contribute via Venmo @desertrootskitchen (Leslie Robin) or come in this week, and also place orders online for upcoming weeks food and meal box pick ups. We will be vending at SWIHA @swiha_college 1st Friday Gifts & Graces on Friday 2/6 7pm-9:30pm and @clarkparkgarden the next morning.
