📍Desert Reef Hot Springs is a high desert oasis in Florence, CO, offering soaking reservations for their main pools ($25 on weekdays, $35 on weekends) as well as several overnight stay options to keep the relaxation going ✨
I had the opportunity to stay in the Hedgehog tiny home (thank you so much @desert.reef for hosting me!) and honestly could not have had a better experience. Each tiny home has a private, spring-fed tub with gorgeous views, plus cozy decor, a kitchenette with local coffee ready to brew, and lots of outlets + high-speed WiFi if you’re wanting to work from the hot springs 👩💻
Make sure to review Desert Reef’s soaking rules for the main pools before you visit, including:
• no phones (the main pools are clothing-optional most days, so this protects visitors’ privacy)
• no loud noise (you will get warned if you or your group is being loud)
• no PDA (book a tiny home with a private tub if you’re looking for a romantic getaway)
• no creeps (men must be accompanied by a partner or female friend)
While these rules might not be up everyone’s alley, I personally found that they created a safe & serene atmosphere as a solo female traveler! I loved my visit here SO much and definitely plan to visit again 🫶
