Until We Talk is finally being released – a feature documentary about the Parents Circle – Families Forum, where bereaved Israelis and Palestinians choose the impossible: to face pain with dialogue instead of hate and revenge.
This film follows Rami Elhanan and Bassam Aramin, two fathers, two stories, and one deeply shared loss. Their journey toward each other is a challenge, a provocation, and ultimately – a call for peace.

We’ve been working on Until We Talk since 2013. What began as a conversation slowly grew into a project, and eventually into a lifelong commitment. Along the way, we experienced doubt, exhaustion, hope – and the quiet courage of those who keep choosing dialogue, again and again.
With empathy and patience, Florian Mebes held space for a story that asks a lot – from its subjects and its audience.
Wolfgang Weigl and Ruth Glas spent countless hours stitching moments into meaning. Finnek and Starecrazy brought a sonic world that carries the film’s emotional weight. Olha Korzhynska gave it its final look – intimate, warm, and clear-eyed.
