My Brother…Producing Partner…Best Friend… MD… 💔🙏🏽😇 How do I put into words what I never imagined having to say? First, I love you brother. The loss of you has me absolutely heart broken. We have over 21 years of growing up together. Seeing each other’s kids born, growing up, accomplish amazing victories. I was so honored when you asked me to be your best man in your wedding. We did our first short film in 2013 and went on to create our own production company together, and then welcomed Tammie to partner with us. And though we met as actors years ago, it’s been so amazing building and telling amazing stories with you, even becoming first time directors at the same time. Although I know we’ll see each other in heaven at some point, I guess, while on this earth, I’m just sad not to hear you laugh. Or say, how we say to each other every year, “This is our year. I feel it D.” And then celebrate our victories and progress. Or, the birthday messages we send to each other, or how we always lift each other up. You absolutely inspire me and you are an amazing father, husband, son, brother, friend, writer, producer, director and man.
But now you’re an angel for your wife, kids and Mom. An angel for me as well. I promise to always honor you and keep your legacy alive. Of course Kelly and I will always be there for Lucy and the kids. I have no doubt your Dad saw you in heaven and said, “What are you doing here?” Then so happy to give you a hug.
