Jack was so proud that he was able to pull this off during our trip. He saw a similar video online, and decided to secretly film me like this. Truth be told, he almost got caught a few times because the wind blew my hat off and I started to turn around, or I got impatient walking by myself, and would turn around to tell him to walk faster 😂 I didn’t understand why he was walking so slow behind me!
At the end of our trip, he gave me this video and I was so touched, I started crying all over again. I am so happy that he understands how much I love documenting life and memories, and even tried to create content for me! What a guyyyy 😌. Ok fine, I’ll say yes 💍

14 years of age difference, and a whole generation gap between us.
All those years ago on that stage during my graduation, I was so surprised to see you running up to me with a bouquet of flowers. I had quickly nudged you off after, as we were not allowed to have family members give us gifts on stage. But seeing as you had already snuck up there (thanks @chubba.wubba ), I regretted not hugging you back in the moment.
My redemption came when I asked you to be my ringbearer on my wedding day 💍. Seeing you sobbing while walking down the aisle to me almost made me break down too. How was it possible that you were so little before, and in the blink of an eye, you were delivering me my ring?!
Baby J, you’re all grown up now, and I want to say that I’m so proud of the woman you’re becoming.

My speech disappeared the day of my wedding 🥲.
I opened my notes app, and POOF!💨 it was gone.
I spent MONTHS working on it, and I had thought of everything that I wanted to say to my loved ones, and I had some honestly, REALLY CLEVER ROASTS, that I was going to throw at a lot of people (it’s my love language).
⚠️Panic⚠️ mode ensued, and I was even caught in 4k desperately trying to remember everything I had, and typing it all down, even during my husband’s speech 🥹 (sorry!)
Looking back at our same day footage from our content creator, I found these videos of me typing in distress and just had to call myself out on it. When I walked out there, I told everyone what happened, and then proceeded to wing it after reading the only two paragraphs I had written down 💀 Unfortunately, I didn’t get to say everything that I planned to say, so I will pay tribute in some future posts!
Moral of the story: ‼️BACK UP IMPORTANT INFORMATION ‼️

A details I really loved was how our long table design curved around the dance floor, and allowed the catwalk leading up to it to have a central focal point, so all the speeches, the performances, the games, the dancing could all have its own spotlight under the massive ascent chandelier. The mirrored dance floor also resulted in some cool shots that everyone enjoyed snapping, and most of all; the breeze was the silent star of our venue- billowing softly throughout the night just right, making the drapes flow and flutter ever so gracefully.
But let’s get the people IN to the venue now, and ask you this… are you ready to party? 😏

Let’s talk ✨golden hour✨!
As the vibrancy of our colour fireworks in the sky gave way to the warm glow of sunset, we welcomed our guests to cocktails and tapas during magic hour. We knew we would be busy taking portraits and such immediately after the ceremony, so we planned for our cocktail hour to have enough activities to keep everyone entertained!
From the 360 photobooth, to the portraits station, our gelato cart, the custom beer pong table, lawn badminton, or just having a sip of Linna’s Lemonade and meeting new friends, we received a lot of enthusiastic feedback from our friends of how it felt like such a fun and seamless transition from the ceremony! Especially the exciting fire dance at dusk performed right in front of our dinner venue (that no one that yet stepped foot inside)🔥🔥🔥
Little do they know, the fun is just getting started…
