'Near Distance | Jarak Dekat' is a meditation on conflicting dualities finding their way to peace — love not as possession, but as witnessing.
Acknowledgement that asks for nothing in return.
Four works, each one a different register of the same silence. A body that holds a message in its skin. Letters composed and never sent. A self fractured and, in that fracture, somehow whole. A hand extended across a distance that may never close.
Poetry and photography. Printing and sewing. Performance and stillness. Across materials, across languages — the presence of feelings that don’t ask to be received.
