My fourth novel (or my 5th) will be published by the incredible @merkybooks . The Recovery House is set entirely in a mental health facility, sometimes called a 'halfway house', a place for the vulnerable to prepare to face the outside world again. It's a place between sanity and insanity, a purgatorial space where faith and love and friendship can develop without being pulled and stretched into something difficult to hold on to. I created these characters and their relationships to break my own cycle of being hospitalized, so this is my most hopeful book, and I'm incredibly proud of it. Publishing September 17th 2026 ♥️
