Everyone, please meet Rosalita (Rosie 🌹)
She is a 1-year-old purebred Doberman rescue. I am already in love. She is the sweetest, most chill girl but carries herself like she wouldn’t take your shit.
She is going to be an excellent “big” little sister to Beau as well. I can’t believe someone abandoned you in some parking lot, setting you up to get hit or hurt…but I can promise you that you will never be left again ❤️
Thank you to @jayruston for the hot tip of her availability, and HUGE thanks to @hands_paws_hearts_rescue for taking good care of her and making this process so easy.
Now off to take her on a nice loooong walk, because girl likes to keep being on the go.

Meet Hikuleo, our brand-new Sulcata Tortoise rescue from the Sulcata Rescue Ranch outside San Diego. He weighs in at a svelte 65 pounds and is 14 years old, but will likely get to 125-150 pounds.
I’ve been planning for some time to rescue a Sulcata (there a big demand to rehome so many of these in Southern California), so I’m beyond excited to have him join our crew.
Rosie’s feeling pretty optimistic about their future friendship, but for now, Hikuleo’s playing it pretty cool and not giving her much to work with. And with a lifespan of up to 150 years, I’m already thinking about who’s gonna take over tortoise duty when I’m long gone - Roman’s grandkids are the top picks, but it’s gonna be a real family showdown. 🐢🍓🌴
I am proud to introduce my grandson, Roman James Badillo.
He was born at 12:30am on June 8th weighing 8lbs 2oz, after 30 hours of still wanting to stay put. Mom and baby boy are going great, and Dad has been a true champ taking care of everyone. Very proud of my daughter and Daniel and look forward to this beautiful new addition to the family ❤️👶🏻
