I wanted to let you know about a current fundraising campaign we are running with Rossini Club to fund the remaining costs of my album, which will feature Del Sol Quartet, clarinetist Nicholas Davies, and a vocal quartet organized by soprano Rose Hegele. The album includes my Clarinet Quintet "Oh World, Goodnight" and String Quartet No. 4 "Kaddish", both of which intimately connect to the Yiddish world. This year, we are collaborating with The Golden Thread Ensemble, an International collective of klezmer, musicians and concert artist! On May 10, we will all gather at the Somerville Armory at 2 PM and sing rare historical Yiddish songs calling for social change, demanding equality and dignity for all people. Come join us for a celebratory afternoon… it’s also a wonderful thing you can do with your mother on Mother’s Day!

My heart and soul were full today as I sat and listened to the brilliant @nick.davies16 and the magnificent @delsolquartet as we recorded the first half of my clarinet quintet. What an honor it is to work with these amazing humans!

TICKETS ARE FOR SALE for the annual A Besere Velt Yiddish Chorus Concert! The title of the concert this year is Sing Out, Fight Back! Yiddish Songs of Social Change, and it will feature BWC's ABV Chorus with Music Director Derek David as well as Golden Thread Ensemble.
