A country where I met so many incredible people, including my incredible wife!!! A country where I got tattoed a “circle”, where I really feel home, and a country that has one of the best crowd and energy in the world... ❤️🔥

@derek_cercle es la mente detrás de @cerclemusic , un proyecto que pasó de una cámara y un set en casa a montar shows en lugares como Petra o Mont-Saint-Michel sin perder su idea original: filmar la música electrónica de una manera jamás vista.

For some of the Odyssey shows, I had the privilege to be the « show caller » for the entire night, orchestrating the immersive content in real time as @artbatmusic ‘s set unfolded.
I really really enjoyed doing this although I was sooo nervous.
It meant connecting deeply with the music, triggering and syncing visuals on the spot, and building on a strong sense of trust between everyone involved.
Thank you to my beautiful team for making this work so flawlessly, so proud of this one ❤️
Back in 2018, I was at ADE when an artist came over to introduce herself.
She was in the early days of her career: incredibly motivated, genuinely kind, and a little shy :’). I had no idea I was meeting the future @djmissmonique .
A few years later, she was set to perform at @cerclefestival 2022. But her show had to be cancelled due to a massive storm… At the very same time, we were preparing a Cercle Show at the Biosphere Museum in Canada, so we immediately invited her to perform there a few months later!
This year, she will finally be playing at our Festival on Sunday, May 24th, and I truly can’t wait for her set. She’s an incredible artist, and on top of that, an incredible human being. 💚
As a kid, my birthday treat was going to the airport with my parents to watch planes take off.
Years later, it led me to imagine Cercle shows in these kinds of places: Tale of Us at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Reinier Zonneveld at the State Aviation Museum in Kyiv, and in 2017, Pan-Pot at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace.
From that first experience at the museum, I knew we could dream much bigger there. Five years later, we were hosting the second edition of the Cercle Festival at the same venue.

2026 marks 10 years of @cerclemusic
To celebrate, over the coming months, I’ll share memories that each carry a specific meaning and tell a part of the Cercle story.
The vocals of the very first track ever played at the very first Cercle show, in my apartment ten years ago, kept repeating “Vision, can you see my vision”. Back then, I had no idea how far I truly wanted to go. I was driven by intuition, but looking back now, it feels almost prophetic.
2025 was a truly special year for me, marked by the launch of our new big baby Cercle Odyssey.
29 unforgettable shows across Mexico, Los Angeles and Paris, with over 50 artists and more than 100,000 souls coming together.
We also lived a truly historic moment with Tame Impala’s performance in Mexico, revealed our dream lineup for the next edition of Cercle Festival, and laid the foundations for what comes next...
I’m deeply grateful to every member of the Cercle team for their hard work, talent and spirit. 2026 is already calling, and I can’t wait to keep surprising you, always more.
Today is my birthday and these last few days, I had the incredible chance to hang out with all this beautiful and caring people in my favorite place on earth México…
