back of the club (90s Mash) | @kwnway @aywy_ Probably once ever 3 months, I finally create a piece that feels authentic and representative of my growth as a dancer. Long late night talks with friends about our own creative expression and what improvement we want to see from our own art led me to creating this piece after hearing the song on my soundcloud feed. This piece feels really special, and I wanted to share it- I'm so thankful for every mover who showed up and put their own sauce on this. SNEAK | @leonthomas I put this piece in the vault about 2-3 months ago, but always had the vision of seeing it on a group of friends. Thank you to these talented movers for making the time to pull up and learn this revamped version of sneak. Seeing everyones choices, pocket, and performance within this piece was amazing. moonlight | @joekay Needed some comfort movement before moving back down to socal, much love to @forjericho for some great feeling movement and strong intentions during class. Wasn't originally going to post this, as there were a lot of things that just didnt feel right, but it sparked some great conversations and dialogue with friends about our relationships with dance and mindsets on our own movement. I appreciate everyone around me so much and am grateful for being able to hear and learn from their experiences. Dance is supposed to be the fun stress relief as I continue to orient myself more and more towards my career, and often get caught up in my own critiques and nitpicking my own growth or regression. If it's meaningful or feels good, sometimes thats all that matters. Trying to find a better balance and relationship with dance within my life ❤️. 🧠: @forjericho 📍: @inthegroovestudios

BELLY | @sailorr Been a while since I've posted my own choreography, and even longer since I've posted a solo. It's been difficult to be satisfied with my own choreography, wanting it to grow in the same way as other aspects of my dancing. This piece is special, feeling like both a development in movement and intention. I wanted to bring a real feeling out from behind @sailorr 's lyrics, while also balancing the ride of the piece and the instrumental.
