Exquisite Corpses: The Game's Kickstarter is almost live! @readtinyonion shared a first look ahead of tomorrow's launch. Marvel shared more details on the Midnight Universe, a new publishing line teased last week that reimagines the company's most iconic characters through a dark horror lens. Three titles make up the initial wave: Midnight X-Men #1, written by Jonathan Hickman with art by @matteo_della_fonte , kicks off the line on August 5. In this world, the streets of New York are stalked by vampires and mutant empyres, a fragile peace between the two factions hanging by a thread, with war on the horizon. Midnight Fantastic Four #1, from writer @benjamin.percy and artist Kev Walker, follows in September. An obsessive scientist drags three others into a horrifying encounter with dimensions that humanity was never meant to discover. Midnight Spider-Man #1, written by @phillipkjohnson with art by @_scietronc_ , arrives in October. Peter Parker is mutated into a spider hybrid by Oscorp as part of their pursuit for eternal life, and when the corporation begins using the secrets of his transformation to create more hybrids, Peter turns his monstrous new form against them. All titles in the line will carry Cloaked Covers, partially obscured on the shelf with the full artwork revealed when the reader turns the page. Today's reveal includes the cloaked and uncloaked versions of the Midnight X-Men #1 cover by @dikeruan .
