Sizelle releases debut single “Unwords”
A fictional artist, real emotion — alternative pop about the ache of the almost.
April 26, 2026
Alternative pop artist Sizelle released her debut single “Unwords” on April 9 and is out now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and all major streaming platforms. Created as an AI-assisted project directed by Lucian Todea, Sizelle is openly fictional. And unmistakably emotional.
“Unwords” explores what stays unsaid between two people: the moments where feeling outruns vocabulary, where presence becomes absence, where a relationship is most defined by what was never spoken aloud.
In just over two weeks of release, “Unwords” reached over 500,000 listens across Spotify and YouTube, finding listeners across the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and beyond.
About “Unwords”
The debut single is rooted in the concept of “unwords”, a poetic framework for the experiences that resist being named. Nichita Stănescu, one of Romania’s most important twentieth-century poets, used the term to describe a mode of feeling that exists between language and silence. The song carries that idea into the form of an alternative pop ballad: spare instrumentation, close-mic vocal work, and lyrics that circle what cannot be said directly.
