Two weeks ago my mom passed away after having contracted Covid in her assisted living community though didn’t ever have symptoms. She had been battling Alzheimers and Dementia for the last few years. Thankfully she went peacefully in bed without too much pain and she left this world while somewhat still herself. Getting old is tough and dementia is way worse. She and I went through a lot. Battled and fought with each other a lot, but when either of us needed the other, we would both drop everything to be there. I can honestly say she tried her best to be a good mom and I a decent son. At the end of it all: I love you, I appreciate you, I forgive you, and I hope you are enjoying your new found freedom among the stars ✨ Here’s to your ridiculous sense of humor 🥂(Only one small drink cause you were always a super light-weight lol) See ya up there someday!
There is something very special under my tree this year! Technically she has been here this whole time but her magic shines a bit brighter on Christmas 🤩 Not sure if she is Santa or an Elf or what... but whatever she is I know I don’t deserve her 😍 Thanks for all the magic!
