When I was ~ 13, my cousin Tres showed me dubstep while we were on this snowboarding trip at Keystone mountain. It was sometime during winter 2009/2010. That moment literally changed my life forever. I got so lucky to be exposed to dubstep during what I believe is the golden era - this was peak Dub Police, Sub Soldiers, Circus Records, Rottun Records, Firepower era dubstep. I remember obsessing over dubstep, it was my whole life from the moment my older cousin Tres told me it was cool. My cousin passed right around the end of my time in high school… about 6 months before I threw my first show. It’s been the weirdest ride ever knowing all of this was because of him, and we never got to experience any of it together. On a night like tonight I couldn’t even imagine what it would be like if he was still here with us. Rusko was one of THE FIRST artists he showed me. One of his favorites. And obviously one of my favorites. Crazy that he will never see what happened, all because of him… Literally every day in middle school, high school, and my short lived 6 months of college, I had Rusko’s music in my daily rotation. I didn’t listen to anything else really for at least 8 years straight. Rusko, Caspa, Cookie Monsta (RIP), & Downlink to name a few, were (and still are) my absolute FAVORITE dubstep artists. Without this snowboarding trip, I don’t know what I would be doing today. I guarantee I wouldn’t know anyone on here. I wouldn’t be throwing shows. I wouldn’t work in music at all. My whole life was because of dubstep. Tonight’s show - Rusko Presents: History Of Dubstep at Summit is gonna mean a lot to a lot of people. An absolute legend playing some of the most important tracks of all time. The music that means so much to so many of us. I hope to see you guys there 🙏🏻

Watch 90 seconds of #Nettspend Early Life Crisis tour last night in Denver 🔥 I’ve been going to Summit Music Hall since 2016 (the 5th concert I ever booked was in this room) and last night @nettspend_ delivered one of the craziest shows this venue has ever seen 🤯 He sold out over 2 months in advance (just a couple of days after the on sale), had nonstop mosh pits the entire night, fans singing every song word for word, this show was nothing short of incredible 👏 U guys are the ones turning these shows all the way up and putting Denver on the map.
