We are so excited to have guest artist, @_ninauiu_ presenting a super cool piece at Scratch in March! Nina is a multidisciplinary artist known for ambitiously inventive circus acts that combine her love of movement, apparatus/rigging design, and extravagant costuming. She is excited to bring the next iteration of her aerial cyr wheel act to Denver Scratch. Ticket link in bio!

@mementomorimoves is sharing work at Scratch in March! Don’t miss this chance to see what they’re up to, and talk with them about their work! Dancer, contortionist, and aerialist: that’s Memento Mori. Discipline meets desire as they twist ballet-trained lines into something dangerous. Ticket link in bio!

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS! Denver Scratch is a place to share new, unusual, or in-progress work with an audience who is there to reflect their experience back to you! @denvercircuscollective , Mar 14th, 2026. The application link will be available for all of December. There’s LOTS more information in the application itself. The goal is to make Scratch a helpful piece of the creative process for performers across disciplines.

So excited to announce that the next Denver Scratch will be on March 14th at @denvercircuscollective !!! Because there’s been so much interest in sharing work at Scratch, I’m creating an application process this time! The application link will be available in bio for the entire month of December. Scratch prioritizes new, meaningful, unusual, or in-progress work by established, experienced, and mature performers, with some spaces for emerging performers. Scratch is all about creating an opportunity for discussion, dialogue, and sharing between performers and audience members. The thing that makes Scratch Scratch is the integration of facilitated talk-backs about each piece, focused on exploring the artists’ intentions, their processes, the work’s impacts and the audience’s experiences. Local (Denver Metro/Front Range) performers AS WELL AS folks who want to visit are invited to apply. While Scratch happens at an aerial-equipped circus space, it is a multi-disciplinary show. Any performing art is welcome!

This concept has grown and changed so much since I first started working on it while in circus school. There have now been 5 iterations of the concept and two different songs. Performing this piece @denver.scratch was the perfect way to take it to the next level with the help of @janelledinosaurs and @flyingfoxsable . Thank you @mx.wolfe for being so supportive of my work in every form and style and cheering me on (and/or crying) while I rehearse. Thank you also to everyone in the audience and cast who gave me feedback 💖
