In this special collaboration, Sista Sound’s co-founder & music director and a pioneer of the Turkish reggae & bass scene, Özge Ürer, takes the stage to represent a powerful movement of diversity and cultural openness. This showcase highlights the collective’s global expansion, bridging musical worlds through a unique artistic experience. The program features an exclusive set curated by Özge Ürer, showcasing her own original productions alongside standout tracks from fellow Sista Sound artists. His musical journey began in early childhood on the cornet and led him to the elite formation of the Swiss Army Brass Band, where he performed at the highest level as a soprano cornetist. Today, Sergjio is a core member of Physicalz Live, where he blends the energy of electronic music with a genuine live performance experience. He has found his musical home in drum & bass – powerful, emotional, and limitless. Performing under his alias Sergjio, his trademark is the unique fusion of DJ sets and live instruments. He seamlessly integrates his virtuosic cornet playing into his sets, creating a distinctive soundscape that balances club energy with musical depth. At the same time, he incorporates the saz (bağlama) – a microtonal string instrument – into his performances, adding oriental tonal colors and improvisational elements to his sound.
