@denizzarda is an Amsterdam-based DJ playing across tech house, disco, UK garage, breakbeat, IDM. Her sets are instinctive, built around tracks that create movement, tension, and release. Her name means the sea. Born and raised in Izmir, Turkey, she has always felt a deep connection with the Aegean Sea Mediterranean, free and unpredictable.
Since starting in 2023, she’s been exploring different corners of electronic music, currently drawn to Indian electronic sounds. She has a soft spot for female vocals in electronic music.
She doesn’t stick to one style, just what feels right in the moment.

this sentence stayed with me after I listened the new album and actually I felt this in many phases in my life. When I was young it happened mostly when there is a new young celeb breakthrough who is younger than me. And the more I get old that feeling grew that I have no chance to be the best in anything i do but I’m trying to be big in my own potential. Still catches me once in a while 🫠 knowing process is the goal but still needing validation in anything i do feels so stupid but also i guess human.
Written in the changes makes me feel like a teenager again at age 32, i resonate with song lyrics and think about things like who i am why am i doing things

I’m lucky to have friends who are passionate to capture moments and telling stories. This time @g.pirrotta_ recorded and captured moments of me playing and I did the editing. Actually he helped me and did the big part of the effort but I also feel like we collaborated and I like collaborating with my friends.
And watching myself I discovered I have a tic, I knew about this but didn’t know that I do it while I dj as well. I bite my lip when I focus too much on something. I thought it does not look good but today I make peace with it so I also post videos that I do it, in the end - what ever works for deniz trying to mix three songs at the same time in front of people 🤌🏻🤷🏻♀️
Maybe my dj name should be dj tic and the crowd can have a laugh when I do it 🤷🏻♀️🕺🏻 let’s try to make something nice out of it you know what they say turn your obstacles into opportunit…….

I met the other dj’s playing and it’s a different connection to know that person has the same passion as me and we will present our style tonight at the same spot. This was also one of the highlights of my night. To be in a dj community as well :)
The vibe was just right, it feels like a huge living room with amazing sound system, neon lights but also spot lights blue, purple. In these days we mourn for the 1st anniversary of David Lynch’s death, yesterday I told to lui - David would love this place 🤣 I made some videos thinking about him..
