💚 Roxanna is a bilingual spoken word artist who has performed her poetry throughout Ireland in English and Irish. Roxanna’s previous work at the Abbey Theatre includes The Passing, Perve and The Plough and the Stars. Other theatre, film and TV work includes Be Infants in Evil (Druid); This is Still Life and The Passion Project (Brokentalkers); Liolà and Broad Shadow (National Theatre of Great Britain); Agnes Browne (Hell’s Kitchen Films); Rat (Jim Henson Productions); Love/Hate (Octagon Films) and Fair City (RTÉ).
🩵 Karen was born in Dublin and is a graduate of the Samuel Beckett Centre in TCD. Her previous work at the Abbey Theatre includes Na Peirsigh / Persians, Joyce’s Women and Rathmines Road. Film and TV work includes Bodkin (Higher Ground Productions/Wild Atlantic Pictures); Finding Joy (Treasure Entertainment/RTÉ/Acorn Media); Acceptable Risk (Acorn Media Enterprises/RTÉ); Brooklyn (Wildgaze Films/BBC Film/Parallel Film Productions); Noble (Destiny Films); A Terrible Beauty (Tile Films); and Evelyn (First Look International).
💙 Denise McCormack is an actor and writer. Denise’s previous work at the Abbey Theatre includes Home: Part One and Dublin Will Show You How. The outpouring of love, the stories of friendship and kindness, the sense of gratitude for having the privilege of knowing and working with Julian Benson @judge_jules_offic are all very palpable and heartwarming today at the most heart breaking of times. Julien was a consummate professional and a really lovely human being. I was privileged, and I’m so glad I was. In Tranquility House Julien has left a legacy that will help families in @cf_ireland for generations to come. Rest well friend ❤️
