Finished this little love letter to Miss Minogue today (65x50cm), making it the first finished piece for 2026(started in 2023 i think). One of my most exhausting drawings i think, but doesnt mean it was my best performance, hope to make up for it on the next one of her which i want to start in the coming weeks. Most black/dark values are off because its reflecting, like you see on the black background and darker hir regions. With the eye done i feel less scared of the drawing which i avoided since last year, not sure how to handle the foil ripple effect but its fun to draw at least and so far im optimistic, hope you are too. Eyo historical moment on the gas station, we finished the hair today which i was going insane with and still not really happy (will need rework under the week before final completion next weekend). Also the reflections are done now so only bra and shoulder remains to be done. I think what the hair lacks is shading which i will carefully add after fixating the drawing, the white balance is too high. Its one lf the most complex hair renderings i did but for whatever reason it felt/feels very hard and im not super happy. Lanas felt way easier. What do you think???

Slower than expected but i think i found the look for the gold i want to have for the rest of the piece, as last update i found it too light and lacking detail. Did the hair and forehead under the week after work and still nor sure for color grading, again gonna have to do it once theres more material drawn so i can decide. Also changed the ornaments again partially so the framing will be a frankenstein of mutiple designs, not sure if thats good but lets giveit a try. We have less that a quarter of the big oval frame drawn and the outside frame misses completely so its gonna be a long and painful process. Wish me luck

Each time i try to be coquette and stuff i fall on my face but lets see how the choice for the golden frame will turn out, sinxe 70% of the drawing will be exactly that. I regret it already, reference too pixellated so i gotta invent ornaments. Fixed the left eye but after recording obviously. Last session before vacation, i think once its done its gonna look cool and kitsch like it fits the ehole k12 visuals i thought. What do you think.

More or less completed half of the bra yesterday night after work and decided to start the skin today. Nothings final as the skin is missing detailing, texture and corrections yet, whixh will require another few hours i think. Would also like to finish it this year since its hanging on for dear life since 2023. in general this drawing is a nightmare. Hope you like it anyway..

Todays progress on hair, almost finished the trickier areas think we did alot today. Kylie saw the update last month so happy she blessed it with a view. In the time i started this drawing kylie has released: 3 full studio albums and went on a world tour, which is also released already. Still aiming for completion in march in order to start my next big kylie (as punishment without hair because i overestimated myself when starting this piece). I really dislike filming progress on this drawing as the black background is busy reflecting everything and the filmed result mostly doesnt look good. Hope you like it anyway and hope its gonna be wortg the wait.

Finally got back to this drawing of melanie martinez. Struggling with the blur effect and both nose bridge and her right eye need correction. Im still confident its gonna look cool with corrections and added hands+background and also hope to make some more progress soon.

Finished this today, did the staircase during the evenings in the past days and couldnt be bothered to fix the building in the background. Painting the handrails by hand was the most tiring part with the baby shin godzilla being the easiest. A treat after detail drawing yesterday.

Happy valentines day. Halfway done with the shades, feeling a bit more comfortable drawing the glass shards but still alot of them. I think ill do the black cape last to avoid smudging. Twas the dumbest idea to draw this on rough paper, shading takes ages and im still not really feeling it but expect it to look only 80% as shit once the dark bsckground makes it come together more. Also not happy with the way she squints will fix later once my headache is gone. Shouldve done this on the usual paper but figured layering dark on rough is easier but was kinda wrong. Will be happy once its either over or canceled.

Almost there. Determined to finish it finally in the first quarter of 2026 since i want to start a big new Kylie this year. I would love to gift this to her but idk how and also the next kylie will be tricky.
I think 2 more sessions for hair needed and then i realized i need to draw the reflection of it in the mirror floor too and the other half of the bra so still lots to do. Would like to start the new big Kylie in march and finish this mext month ideally.
Didnt even film the first few hours of todays progress as i was nervous and didnt know if ill get the hair right today. Hope you like it too its one of my favorite drawings still.
