A room filled w Vietnamese excellence. Paris By Night royalty, creatives, leaders, community. Unity. Pride. A building full of người Việt and allies.
I chose the Airliner for its musical legacy: now Viet-owned, newly-renovated. The classic bar energy and authentic Vietnamese cuisine downstairs, pristine HiFi audio acoustics upstairs. From Viet fusion Henny cocktails, the decor, the gift bags to the Bầu Cua Tôm Cá, every detail was intentional.
As Cultural Director, my goal wasn’t just to throw another function. It was to build something that was elevated, modern, electric and unmistakably Vietnamese.
Ending the night with
@Biphm and myself on the decks, playing Vinahouse, Vietnamese New Wave, Vpop, Viet rap…seeing vibrant áo dài shakin’ azz and moving across the dance floor was wild.
