📽🎞PROJECTIONS:
JC Culp has been bringing analog film projections to the public for 30 years, including a decade at Toronto’s beloved Trash Palace. Tonight they will be featuring the Technicolor Super 8 Cartridge loop projector in the mix (“and showing some choice 16mm shorts for the preshow”? I think that will work better than midshow in this space? Will be easier in the future when I have my wide-lens projector back from the shop)
Ren Kangas (
@sagnakner ) is an emerging filmmaker who recently cofacilitated the Xcavate 3 analog filmmaking workshop at Niagara Artists Centre. She will be slide jockeying this show with the help of our vintage slide dissolve machine!
Kat Knuth (
@merrykat_silverwheel ) will be bringing their newly assembled, 1960s style liquid light show into the visual mix, for their live projection debut.
