For the third year in a row, I had the great opportunity to contribute to an art installation at
@inhorgenta Munich!
This year's project, The Atelier, explores the journey of jewelry craftsmanship from tradition to innovation.
Seven columns structure the space, each dedicated to a historic technique. Inside a luminous environment of mirrors, light and geometric repetition inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey, objects shaped by centuries of human knowledge appear in striking contrast with a space that feels almost futuristic.
Behind each column, AI-generated films reveal robotic hands performing the gestures of these techniques. It introduces a quiet question: in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, will these crafts remain the work of human hands?
Each technique unfolds through a carefully choreographed sequence where music activates a luminous ceiling above the installation, translating the rhythm and character of each craft into light.
For a brief moment the space returns to white, before dissolving into a new atmosphere, giving each technique its own presence.
