The things Iβm able to do with @steinbergmedia Spectral Layers Pro 12 are sometimes unreal! The Unmix modules are truly amazing and a must have imo. If itβs a choice between this and another spectral editor, this one is the one to have no question.
And yes I regularly use it in directly in @avid.protools with ARA.

Here's a great example for why I only endorse dxRevive Pro. Because it is synthesizing what's missing, you achieve the best results by being in control of the frequency bands that are being affected and by how much.
Here I have a lab mic that is not optimally placed (likely because of wardrobe). The audible result is that the mic is picking up a lot of room and almost sounds like it's not even on the person. With dxRevive Pro I'm utilizing the Studio 3 algorithm, which suppresses Noise, Reverb, and Artifacts while also restoring EQ, LF, and HF. Notice how I've reduced the affect on the lows. This is hugely important because when I first processed it with no band splits, the results sounded overly processed on the lows, so I undid that and split up the bands to end up with this setting, which I've now saved as a preset to use in the future when this same situation occurs.
