Today, I look back with immense pride. In 2025 alone, DLC successfully delivered 48 curated events across 7 cities in 3 countries, engaging 2,000+ community members from 20+ nationalities. From Mumbai to London. From live podcasts and book launches to conversations on AI, leadership, fashion, and culture. From tech innovators to industry icons. Each event becoming more about quality than quantity—and gaining relevance, depth, and global resonance. This did not happen by chance. It happened because of an exceptional team that delivers event after event, better than the last. My deepest appreciation to Shilpi Singh, Director – DLC, and the entire DLC team, supported relentlessly by the management of Della Group and teams across companies. Every single employee who works tirelessly behind the scenes to curate experiences that bring together some of the most powerful men and women of eminence from across the world. With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai — author and a cherished member of the DLC family. Our journey began when he joined DLC, but over the years it grew into something much deeper. I was always in awe of his intellect — the way he decoded Chanakya Niti for the corporate world and young generation. He made ancient wisdom relevant for modern leadership. Through Corporate Chanakya, his books, DLC Podcast, DLC Fireside Chats, and the Chanakya Institute of Leadership, he shaped how thousands of young minds and leaders think. Slowly, this professional association turned into a bond of trust and friendship. He became my constant — a friend I deeply respected for his wisdom and intellect. He believed knowledge was meant to be shared. At Della Resorts, we began celebrating Ram Navami every year since 2024, along with the Ram Rath Yatra in Lonavala — a tradition we hold close to our hearts. Dr. Pillai’s presence and talks on Indian mythology during Ram Navami in 2024, 2025, and 2026 gave these celebrations depth and meaning. His wisdom became part of our tradition. His sudden passing due to a heart attack leaves a void. The lessons will remain, but we will miss the man — his warmth, his clarity, and his unwavering commitment to spreading wisdom.
