On my way to the market, passing by a coal pot seller brought back a wave of nostalgia and I got inspired to recreate this item that has stood the test of time... into something that perfectly fits into our present day.
I believe reimagining the classic coal pot into a functional piece of art finds a place for history in the modern world, while preserving the essence of the African culture.
I sketched designs and collaborated with @eyiyemi.x to bring the 3D model to life.
