2025 — whew. That’s a wrap.
My first full year back in Hong Kong.
Finding a slightly less insane setup for my life — one that prioritizes how I want to live, not just nonstop expansion, accumulation, or chasing inspiration.
The last two decades were wildly full 🤩 — enough fuel for several lifetimes — and somehow I still came back and chose another equally hard and ADHD route once again.
But honestly?
Life has been very well lived because of it.
This year marked something quieter but more radical:
I stopped chasing conventional markers of success — likes, optics, external validation (and yes, posted less) — and started living the much more wholesome yet even scarier version where I define success. (The final quarter was all domestic!????!!! My first in decades.)
Thank you to my friends, colleagues, bosses, students, actors, singers, and collaborators — for your patience, goodwill, care, trust, and time.
Working with this heart-and-brain combo — fast, nonlinear, and carrying a lot — isn’t always easy.
Next year will be a landmark lab testing year — on new tracks.
A year to begin building something more sustainable, focused, and intentional — across entrepreneurial work, directing, teaching, and new ways of thinking and making. Something that builds and stays. Good people only.

Dance Dance Involution has completed its run of 18 electrifying performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, and we at Deliberate Collision are overwhelmed with gratitude for the immense love and support we’ve received. This was our company’s first draft of our debut show, and we couldn’t be prouder to have brought these Hong Kong voices to international stages with verve, rigor, and a dynamic dialogue that resonates with global works and cultures, infused with nuance and immediacy.
To every audience member who joined us: your laughter, your tears, your rapt attention and from your heartfelt conversations at the venue to the stunning fan art you created have left us in awe. Your energy and enthusiasm fueled every moment on and off stage, making each performance a shared celebration. To our phenomenal producing partners @letsbetogetherartfestival and @clartscollective , stage manager @cynthiaws , tireless team, comrades in other shows and every supporter who believed in us: your unwavering dedication, late nights, and boundless creativity turned our vision into reality.
