OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The moment has arrived to proudly unveil the Official Indian Delegation representing the Photography Club of India for the 5th Edition of ProgresFestival 2026, to be held in Genoa, Italy, this Autumn.
This delegation brings together an exceptional collective of photographers and visual storytellers whose works embody the diversity, depth, and evolving language of contemporary Indian photography. Through their individual practices, they carry narratives rooted in memory, humanity, identity, resilience, culture, and everyday life — voices that now travel from India to an international platform of artistic dialogue and cultural exchange.
Under the themes of Visions, The Visual Memory of Protest, and Everyday Family Life, this collaboration stands as a celebration of photography’s ability to transcend borders, languages, and distances while preserving the emotional truths of our shared human experience.
Progressive Street is deeply honoured to collaborate with the Photography Club of India — one of India’s most respected and longstanding photographic institutions, whose contribution to the growth of photographic culture, visual education, exhibitions, salons, and international artistic exchange has inspired generations of photographers across the country. For decades, the Photography Club of India has remained a vital force in nurturing visual storytelling and creating meaningful spaces for photographers to learn, exhibit, and connect globally.
The official venue details and exhibition dates are currently being processed and will be announced soon through our official channels.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating artists and express our sincere gratitude to the Photography Club of India for their trust, collaboration, and continued commitment toward strengthening international cultural dialogue through photography.
Together, we look forward to presenting voices from India to the world — celebrating photography not only as an art form, but as a bridge between people, cultures, and generations.
