🎉 We are proud to celebrate Delaware Tech President Dr. Mark Brainard on being named the 2026 Milestone Award recipient by Delaware Business Times! This prestigious honor recognizes leaders whose sustained impact has made a meaningful difference across the First State.
Under Dr. Brainard’s leadership, Delaware Tech expanded access and opportunity for thousands of Delawareans. As a longtime advocate of the SEED Scholarship, he championed the program’s expansion in 2021, opening the tuition-free option to Delawareans of all ages for both higher education and workforce success. He also guided the College through more than $170 million in capital improvements, investing in the College’s infrastructure and enhanced learning and support environments for our students. During his tenure, Delaware Tech has reimagined programmatic and institutional measures of student success through its work with Achieving the Dream, advancing student outcomes, equity, and data-informed decision-making to better serve all learners.
