You don’t realize how much your mom did until you’re the one in the kitchen trying to cook, clean, keep the whole house together and still show up for yourself and everyone. 
In those moments, you finally see her, how much she loved, how much she carried and how she quietly and selflessly did it all. 
You think about all the times she had hard days but didn’t let you see it. How you wish you could go back in time to give her a hug and tell her she was doing such an amazing job.
