Had a lot of fun yesterday, at good as gold with the boys. I guess we had another fancy menu, we tried to keep all the dishes looking pretty with loads of flavour. Big thank you to everyone who came to eat we appreciate you always. Thank you to the boiz on the line Oscar and tadgh and the exceptional Alex Sansbury driving out the front of house for us! I think my fav dish was out pattiver they came out so good so crispy and so moist inside It was a fun one man, nice to cook for you all again. I will hopefully see you guys at our dinner tables next year😀

Some behind the scenes of our lobster dish @st.art__gallery dunno how we really made this work tbh but as I always say Ibz is a visionary for making things stretch. Looking at our budget and the prices for the lobsters at billingsgate was pretty funny, but left within budget with super tasty live Scottish lobsters. The puree was made at my mums house in Dagenham, the yakitori glaze was made at Ibz mums house, the mangos were prepped at my lady’s house, Ibz prepped 20 lobsters at his house and the flowers were all foraged locally in Herne Hill. Every dish was pretty technical here with no kitchen to prep in it was hectic man, but this is the best dish we have served to paying guests so far.

An unforgettable day filled with flavor, music, and nothing but the best vibes 🎶✨ Rooted in heritage, driven by emotion, and fuelled by community — this was more than just a supper club. It was a soulful celebration of culture, creativity, and connection. Thank you to everyone who came and made it magical 💛

Yes yes another successful edition of guato with the same crew!! Firstly a massive thank you to @chefdannyjack For allowing us to use his beautiful space, it’s such a magical venue we always feel at home when we are there. A massive thank you to everyone that came along and supported us! It brings me so much joy to be able to express myself through my food and it wouldn’t be possible without you guys thank you all so much! A big up to @ibz_u for being alongside me through all of these rides, going to fish markets at 3:30am to haggle with fishmongers is always a fun one, and begging uncles in Brixton market for Cheaper prices on stuff is always quite funny. Wouldn’t want anyone else by my side ❤️ Big up to caro again on the art, you made that dining room look so beautiful, Deji is happy to have our caro alongside us in these events your the best. A thank you to @ninaptribeiro for showcasing your knife bag in our dining room also. It was placed so beautifully and brought a nice element to our room! We’re not stopping here keep your eyes out I’m sure we will be popping up again soon😃

So me and ibz are back again… in Brixton town bringing you another carribean tasting menus on the 15th of June. I’ve been so excited to be back at studio z it’s such a magical venue. Expect more live music. Bringing you a live band through your dinner and an rnb artist at the end. Of course Caro will be back with all our art creation again! More live fire cooking this time, super rustic style menu. Just focusing on flavour and that raw carribean taste uno! Guato edition 2 with the same crew @st.art__gallery I had such a great time being on the line again with ibz, this time a more interesting set up for us cooking with only one induction and an oven. But we made it work, with no issues Shout out to Caro again coming thru with all our curation, she’s always brings our events together with her art choices. And thank all of you guys that were there! We wouldn’t be able to do this without you guys, I couldn’t appreciate you all more❤️ Big thanks to the front of house on the day you guys were also amazing and a thank you to Charlie for letting us use your beautiful space! Lastly, if you weren’t there 15th of June we’re back again, with another pop up in the carribean home of London Brixton. Bigger flavours more live fire cooking please come along ❤️
