Poetry is my Purpose and I take my ministry very seriously.
A couple of weeks ago I had the honors of kicking of “Women’s Herstory Month” at Em Tea Coffee Cup and got to create and curate an amazing vibe celebrating our Womanhood!
In this sacred space through creativity we vented, talked about our cycles, our hormonal changes with age, lessons we learned from getting older, gave advice to those younger than us, shared our motherhood journeys, we laughed, we sighed, we shared our flings, we talked about our “toys”, our shortcomings, our relationships with our bodies… fathers shared their experiences raising daughters, brothers shared their vulnerabiities, passions and stories.
We heal collectively when we have spaces to EXPRESS not REPRESS. I love what I do! It’s holy for me.
