Dehen’s Letterman Sweater - A Piece of History
Earned through achievement in athletics and activities, each sweater tells the story of its wearer with patches, pins and sleeve stripes. Students earned their school’s letter through achievements in athletics, music and activities. The cardigan sweaters we continue to make today are nearly identical to those from the 1920s and 1930s. Knit, cut and sewn with the same care that we’ve put into every sweater for over 100 years. When you wear a Dehen cardigan, you’re not just putting on a sweater… you’re wearing a piece of history.

When it comes to American sportswear, Dehen 1920 continues to be our oracle.
They’ve graced us once again with two incredible pieces that perfectly capture what they do so well — timeless garments with real character, built in Portland, Oregon with the kind of quality that only comes from doing something for over a century.
The 60’s Cut Team Jacket is a fantastic take on the classic American team jacket. Made from a rich rust-coloured corduroy woven by Brisbane Moss, it features wool knit trims, satin lining, and a slightly more relaxed fit with a cropped body and dropped shoulders. A proper piece of sportswear with just the right amount of attitude.
Alongside it, the Lounge Shirt in Lawn Chair Plaid. Made from a Japanese double weave cotton, the fabric has a wonderful texture and a pattern that draws inspiration from vintage folding lawn chairs. Relaxed, breathable, and just the right amount of playful.
Worn here with a Dehen baseball cap and the white Sugar Cane 1947 jeans.
We’re already running low on sizes in a few of these, so don’t wait too long if you’ve had your eye on them.
It's Picnic time! This 6 oz. Japanese milled fabric is one of our lightest weight Crissman Overshirts ever.
We've also got some restocks on the shelves, heavy hitters like Oatmeal and Light Oxford Melton, and the oh-so-very-nice classic Loden and Black Moleskin pictured here, fresh off the production floor looking sharp.
Our Indigo dyed Sashi-Ori Skyline Overshirts will break in and fade over time, revealing the highs and lows of this handsome fabric.
Each piece grows more and more unique with every wear.
We've been waiting all year for @the1moto and the wait is FINALLY OVER! If you're in Portland this weekend, you don't want to miss this event! Bikes, music, cars, food, and more!
Dehen has been manufacturing motorcycle sweaters since the 1930s so you might even see a few walking around the show!
Tickets are available at the door and we'll see you there!
If this @halleystevensons Faded Blue Dry Wax Ripstop fabric looks familiar, that's because it is!
We released it in our popular Crissman Overshirt earlier this month and now we're back with a few other Spring '26 styles! They include our Heavy Duty Raincoat (ready for any Spring showers), our Flight Vest (you won't lose track of this guy with that hi-vis lining) and our Baseball Hat (a trusty companion wherever you go).
We've been fielding numerous requests for this guy since it's already sold out at some of our retail partners, so we've thrown in our Natural Sashi-Ori Baseball Hat for good measure!
There you have it; four strong options! It's your move!
