i moved to LA ten years ago today ✨ as a born and raised New Yorker, you’re irrationally raised to believe this city and all it encompasses is soft and fake, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. it’s because of this city and all it encompasses that i’ve learned authentic joy and acceptance, grown and challenged myself in unimaginable capacities, and cultivated my own family who’ve been by my side (near and far) one flat white and extra dirty gin 50/50 martini at a time. blessed is such an understatement. life is so so good and sweet and fun, even when it’s not, so I’m gonna need at least another decade of this, okay??? 🎀 see you later and text me when you get home safe
